Parrots

The parrot is a very popular bird in the World, it lives around the world but its habitat it’s on the South American’s Forests.

 It eats fruit and seeds.

The parrot has got big wings, small eyes, very big claws in it feets. Its body has rich and multicolour plumage. It’s an intelligent animal, very noisy and it has got an ability to mimic sounds.

 In many parts of the World parrots are popular preys for hunters. Many species of parrots have become extinct over the last two centuries, and others are close to extinction today because its habitat is killed by hunters.

 Sometimes even wildlife reserves cannot provide switches enough environments for parrots. Specialists have created carefully artificial boxes for parrots and captive breeding programs.
