Artic Fox

My favorite animal is the Artic Fox.

It is in the group mammals. In atumn,  the Artic Fox coat turns from light brown  to white or steel blue in winter depending on the fox`s location.

It eats small mammals, birds, dead fish, and carrion.

It lives in the Antartic circle, Berings and Hudson bay in Greenland, Sacardivia,  Soviet Union.

It can walk, skip, run and hunt.

But it can`t swim or fly.

It has got small and compact body with short legs.

It small, rounded body conserves body heat lost through the ears and feet.

The artic fox only stars shivering -94  F and survives temperatures of -112 F.
